Throughout production, I brought forward all my knowledge from the research and all the planning I had done, into the production. Myself and the crew had 2 days split over a week to get all the shots we needed to create the film. We shot the internal scenes one, two and three on the first shoot and the external scenes four and five on the final day. Throughout this, I was punctual, kept the crews moral high and was able to direct all the shots I wanted to precision working with the shot list I had previously done.

 

As mentioned before, I was inspired by American TV dramas like 'American Horror Story' and 'The Handmaids Tale' to give the film edge in the way it moves. Although its static in some places, most of the production moves slowly in a gliding motion. Some moves took a lot of takes but my confidence, determination and perseverance allowed me to get the final look. Overall I kept the crew's spirits high directing in a calm and efficient manor as well as working with the actress in regards to blocking and body language so that everything married together with the camera and narrative. Overall I'm very proud of how I directed this piece and the achievements I have accomplished.
